SKS is a awful hard platform to go past when looking at bang for buck solutions
i'm also a fan of the Bullpup conversions available cheap ,
Ruger Mini 14 cheap light stock are available the round is common and cheap and it dont attract the attention of AR's while being a tad better accuracy on average than the out of the box avg AR
mini 14's can be bull pupped too
