Thanks, guys. I can hardly wait until I get to fully retire. THAT'S when I'll have more time to play in the kitchen. My birthday is Sunday and I'm getting an electric meat grinder. it's just in time as I'm down to 2# of my Italian sausage and 1 12" piece of Sopressata. I have always made sausage by hand grinding the pork, so it's going to be a treat to have the machine doing the work, including packing the casings. I think I'll get a foot switch so I don't have to indenture my wife to crank the packer. Maybe not, I don't want to spoil her.
Anyway, tonight was the promised leftovers from last night. I just changed the veggie to broccoli since I got it on sale today for $.99 for a 3-stalk bunch.
