Im thinkin Drilled and Tapped because with a magnifying glass and a good light i can almost see the change in the steel where the screw hole should be. If this is the case I will simply drill it out with a bigger drill bit until I break the head of the screw, then remove the lug, pull the rest of the stud and move it back a half in with a new hole D/T in the barrel and a new screw. then weld it all back up and blue it.
It takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile, and 3 for proper trigger squeeze.
The latest caliber or gear is no substitute for experience and skill. Rifles and cartridges don't make hits -- shooters do.
