Holy smokes. I just had an epiphany.. The friggin handle could stand to be a half inch shorter. I can drift out the grip panel rivets. Cut the tang, remove a half inch of steel, reweld it, grind it back down and polish it back up. then trim the wood panels to fit and reinstall them.. HA good as new. and shouldt take me an hour to do.. Then I wont have to worry about a reblue and I can leave the rifle alone. Its too dang nice a rifle to go drillin new holes in the barrel anyway.. Maybe I can talk him into lettn me shoot it.
