I use my scopecam only for aiming, so camera shake from recoil isn't a concern.
I just found out that Be Adaptive
http://www.beadaptive.com/ offers a scopecam/monitor similar to mine for $700...kinda pricey but worthwhile if it keeps you in the hunt.
