The semi-auto versions of those weapons are NOT assault weapons.
An AR-15 that fires the 5.56 cartridge BUT ONLY DOES SO IN A SEMI-AUTO manner is NOT a military weapon either.
NOT the same thing.
That is only part of the issue.
