Todays .308 and .30-06 ammunition are generally considered equal in performance, and only thru careful handloading can one realize the full potential of either round.

The latest caliber or gear is no substitute for experience and skill. Rifles and cartridges don't make hits -- shooters do. Fact of life: After Monday and Tuesday, even the calendar says WTF!
