I moved this here, Barry, because I think it was getting lost in Old Semperfi's thread.

Lord, I uphold this man to you this morning.
He is in that condition that from this side seems to be stuck between this world and the next. This has gone on for a long time, Lord, and I ask that you would bring this to a conclusion.
I ask that you would bring him out of this coma and into the next life, or bring him out of this coma and restore him to this life.
I know his family will miss him, Lord, but they are already missing him now in his present state.
We never know your will, Father, and we never want to ask for anything contrary to it, but I simply ask that you would carry out your will for this man sooner rather than later.

And Lord, I ask for comfort for his family as they watch him just lie there unresponsive.
I ask that you would give strength and peace to each one of them

And I ask these things in the name of Jesus the Christ, the Great Physician -
