The magazine is modern and not original.

The pistol was made in 1941 by Mauser, whose code at that time was "42" (they were assigned several codes in the pre-WWII and wartime period). The pistol sounds like it is all matching and in nice condition, but pictures will be needed to verify that. Pictures will also allow a reasonable evaluation.
