I'd stay away from the Galaxy 949 and 959, they won't give you the power you'll be wanting. I'd go with Shooters idea and a 10 meter convert. Get the right one and you'll have 240 channels .
Connex, Galaxy, Ranger, Stryker and Magnum all make 10 meter talk boxes.
