Thank you- I realize that I should provide a picture but your ball park figures tell me that a sight unseen offer from a gun dealer of $500.00 is way off- The serial number indicates the gun was made in 1971 and is better than 98% bluing on the barrel the receiver being engraved silver -there are no marks on the burled wood stock
