Given the IDF build up around Gaza in the last 3 days it looks like there may be several new cleared areas within a few days. 75,000 troops with supporting armor, artillery, air, and sea power is a pretty formidable force. They've already sealed off the border except for the part adjacent to Egypt, and they've stated that they intend to erase Hama's and other terrorist organizations, weapons, and infrastructure this time around.
The newsie's keep harping on the last time Israel went in 4 years ago and that this time looks like a repeat of that.
I don't think so. Israel usually doesn't make the same mistake twice, and the leadership and citizens are 100% behind a total cleanup. The only fly in the ointment is what Iran/Egypt might do, which could complicate things.
