These petitions have no backing by the states themselves. With that said if the people that signed these petitions feel that strongly about secedeing from the united States of America then i'd sugest they persuade their elected representitives to start a real petition.

Our founding fathers signed a "petition" so to speak and if it would've turned wrong for them do you think the King would've said, "No big deal guys"? Nope, they'd have been executed.

So I say to all that signed a petition to secede from the Union. Get your representatives involved, get the states involved and lets get the real deal going. I'm to old to play with worthless petitions on the interwebs. I shall however stand and fight with my fellow statesman should Ohio actually secede but somehow I think that's not going to happen.
