Have a strange question, have a small amount of 458 win mag bulletts left over from reloading for a friend, he does not want them, I know that the 458 and the 45-70 shoot the same size bullett, but is OK to use the semi-spitzer 458 bulletts in the 45-70 if you only load one at a time. The bullett weight is 350gr, made by Alpha La Frank. Thank you for any input. loader44.

Yes they will work fine in a 45/70 but NOT in a tube fed lever gun unless you load them one at a time if you have a single shot no problem at all
