Re: Cleaning
I clean my .22 after every shooting session wihch typically invlolves around 300 rounds. I just found out about a cool cleaning kit from Champions Choice called the patch worm kit. Your not supposed to use brushes or metal rods to clean .22 bores. I ordered 3 kits so I wont have to worry about not getting any more in the future. The kits are only $4.50 and allow you to clean from breach to muzzle the way you should even with the bolt still in. I have a Ruger Mark III hunter with a 2x6 scope. This thing shoots like a rifle and I don't want to screw it up by not cleaning it right which I, unknowingly, did for years with other guns.
