I have been shooting a sleved XP-100 with a jewel trigger and a 30m inch Schneider 30 cal barrel with a 13 trist. It is chambered in 308 and it is a 1/2 minite rifle. I once shot a 150-13X prone at 800. Thats 13 xs out of 15 shots and the other 2 were 10s. My best 1000m rifle is a 6.5X284. It a blueprinted sleven Rem 700 with a Kenyon trigger and a double froozen 30 inch Krieger 8 tiwst barrel. I am confident it will hit a 4 inch spoter at 1000. Well in a no wind condition on a bench I think its a 5 inch 10 round gun.
Last year the winning long range carterage was a 6mm. Tubbs has his own 6XC casses made and he was shooting a 115 gr Sierra bullet in I believe a 7.5 twist. The rifle I hope to bring to my number 1 XC rifle and long range rifle is a 40X with a 30 inch Obermeyer barrel chambered for a 6X22-250. We will see. So far groups are just ok.
