Re: 10-22 jamming problems?
Have had several 10/22 of various configs. Latest two (purchased within last two years) give me some grief. Earlier ones never malfunctioned. Overall Ruger ain't what it used to be in my opinion! I keep watching for a Made in China roll on!
Also have a 77/22 with that neat 'green' laminate wood stock. Junk ... but pretty. Reworked mags (why did Ruger not make 10/22 and 77/22 mags interchangeable!!??) and trigger. It is just okay!
Have an old (first year manufacture) Rem Nylon66 that will shoot any ammo all day as fast as you load though the butt! Works like one should. Also a Stevens M87 from the 50s that works all day every day!
Most of the new stuff is castings, and I must say the Ruger clean up on castings is quite poor. The inside of my Red Label (hammers, etc) looks like it was done with a metal adze! Inside of my Rem M3200 is smooth as a baby's.
