Beginning of this year we had to put my childhood dog down, but being away at school I hadn't even gotten to see him for several months. You never really get over it. But thats how you know it was so worth it and so good- the only way it could hurt like that.

There's a few things I'll never forget. 1) As a kid on vacation the wretched scream an old man gave outside our window as he went into a seizure. 2) The "oh my God!" my dad yelled just before we got rear-ended by a car going over 40 (we were stopped) and 3) The wakup call at 8 in the morning that my puppy had died.
