I don't have any primers yet so I'm not sure what to get there. I got the bullets at Gander Moutain for 29 bucks for 100. I also saw the 150 grain ballistic silvertip that winchester loads there too but I wanted to try something different than what I already shoot. I'll be shooting these out of a Ruger M77 MkII. Any thoughts on what primer I should try to get? Also any thoughts on this load in general? I'll start here and see what my rifle likes by moving up in half grain increments.


I would recommend sticking with non magnum primers until you can evaluate the load you are using. General rule is that mag primers add a little more initial chamber pressure due to hotter ignition.
