Springfield .45
What do you think about the Springfield's.
Would like to buy a .45 (when funding is available) and was checking out the Springfields. Mainly due to the attractive price.
Then, I was shooting at my gun club a few days ago. There was a guy there with a .45 Springfield fresh out of the box, first time shooting it. Appartently the bullets were "tumbling" end for end because the holes in his target were elongated. About 1" long.
He was pissed. Packed it up and left.
Was this a problem with the gun? Or the ammo?
Other then the Springfield's can you recommend other makes
that are reasonably priced. thanks
