I let this deer walk
My game camera took this picture at 7:23 this morning. At 7:26 this deer walked by my blind just 8 feet from me. I was tempted to shoot it with my Blackhawk .45. I didn't though because I had seen a nice buck a short time earlier that I couldn't get a shot at. I was hoping the buck might be following the doe. If the buck had been I would not have tried the .45 on him. He would have gotten 150 grains of Remington Corelokt out of my '06.
