I have a High Standard Duramatic which is a pleasure to shoot. It is the cheapest HS ever made but it sure shoots well. I can hit a lot better with the HS than my Ruger MkII.

The Ruger functions well but I wish I could find better sights. The front blade is too thin and leaves too much space in the rear notch to really get accurate.

I'm sure a regular target type Ruger would be a great pistol.
