From an 'ability' standpoint, I'd take the .357 SIG. My understanding of it is that it's a 9mm that acts like a .357 Magnum, but is short/small enough to be able to be chambered in a semi-auto pistol.

But like these guys said, .40 S&W may be a better choice if you plan to shoot the gun a lot because of ammo price.
