I have since finishing this rifle given it to my dad. He loves it and as a southpaw who operates the action right handed, i know.. wierd, he finds the bolt and ring safety very usable. I have since graduated to better nagants

I am a finn fan now and my ruskies have all be deemed plinkers and are only fed junk mil-surp ammo

The latest caliber or gear is no substitute for experience and skill. Rifles and cartridges don't make hits -- shooters do. Fact of life: After Monday and Tuesday, even the calendar says WTF!
