In response to the Phoenix event, the Honerable Sen. C. Schumer, D-NY- has recently introduced the "Fix Gun Checks Act" as the new "common sense" gun legislation:

Note Sen. Schumer's legislation would disenfranchise
anyone accused of a violation ! No trial, no adjudication, no relief for the innocent, no way to for them to appeal/rectify the disenfranchisement........Yes the proposed time frame is five years......But a stroke of the pen could make it lifetime !
