Then again, my varmint/bench rest "rifle snob" and "scope snob" buddies I shoot p-dogs with were pretty accepting of my Rock River "tactical" AR last year in South Dakota and I had a few decent kills with it, from 100-175 yds, even though it is only a 16" it is a heavy barrel and I WAS shooting only Black Hills factory ammo in it with a mid-price range Bushnell 3-9x variable....
Today even my biggest rifle snob upper class English Citizen buddy allowed that the AR wasn't all that bad at all last year and if I worked up some loads for it it might surprise us even more....

Maybe I CAN buy the new Callaways and have money enough to hit all the shops in all my travels....and I kinda DID like that nice Savage 311 12 ga in that shop where I bought my powder trickler in Fortville for $325....I wonder if he would take $275 CASH.....
