Default Re: Chaplains Corner

I just read that Harold Camping has predicting that Jesus will return Saturday, day after tomorrow. Harold is a retired Civil Engineer from Oakland, California that founded Family Radio Worldwide, an independent ministry that does broadcast all around the world. Harold predicted this in 1994, but that failure has not detered him nor his followers from believing that THIS time he is right.
There is even a guy in New Hampshire, Bart Centre, selling insurance contracts to Christians who believe the rapture is emminant. for $135 he will take care of your pet for 10 years if you get raptured out, because no dogs go to heaven.

For Harold:
Matthew 24:36 (KJV);
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

No one knows the day of His coming. Harold is wrong.

For Bart:
Revelation 19:11-14 (KJV);
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Armies coming from heaven mounted on horses.
Proof there are animals in heaven.
Bart is wrong, and so are all his clients.

Jesus COULD come today, tomorrow, or Saturday.
But prudent Bible believing Christians will go ahead and make plans for next week.
