Default Re: shooting from car's

hunting here is hard on state or gov land and why the game council was formed , and the fact we have the hunters and fishers party with 2 seats in this state government , and the disabled groups and the veterans and cops on side , that is changing , we have 2 million hectares opened for feral animal control just recently and working on another 6 million ( 2.2 acres - 1 hectare) the coal board and all its members have to control feral animals on the land they lease from the government so we have got them to give us another 1.2 million hectares for less abled hunters, as they also must put in tracks for fire fighting on their leased land this works for us in a lot of ways so vehicle based hunting, especially for less abled folks or elderly hunters is growing fast here ..

but we been working on this for 14 years now maybe , its only the last 2 years we have had any luck and it was pure Luck i got into the land i got , The Good Lord sure helps when he wishes 1 neighbour is the land lord , the other a keen shooter who's getting older and behind me all coal lease and national park and state land ( open to hunt)
a post i made about the fight back
