Hey 1st I would like to say thank you for all the info on a wide range of guns and just neat stuff.

My Uncle has a Springfield Armory U.S. RIFLE 7.62-mm M1A SN 004XXX About half way up the barrel it is stamped NM the thing is in mint cond and i was just trying to find out about what year it was made and about how much it is worth
