I was stationed in Phuoc Vinh and their water supply was a cistern that was fed by a well into a shallow water table. Since 1967 (when I was there) I have learned the water supply was tainted with Dioxin from all the spraying around Phuoc Vinh. That means I have 365 exposure days. I finally quit going to VA because of their mis-diagnoses. Both of my children have issues traceable to dioxin, but so far children of exposed vets have gotten little to know attention.
