Yea, it's the straight receiver. Chinese surplus wood is pretty much a direct replacement, with the buttstock sometimes needing fitted down just a little. But I really need to go with U.S. furniture, quite afew options available (ironwoods has some very nice looking ones). I haven't been around any Maks that were milled so I don't know if any are, but this one is stamped. For the time being, does a modified U.S. part still count towards 922r compliance?
