That's interesting Polishooter with your .220 swift and and the scope "step-up" as I've
had the same thoughts on "moving up" with a better scope on my Savage 12.
Right now I've got the Tasco World Class 5-20x50AO and havent had, what I would call,
complaints on the scope...other than;
The windage and elevation marks, as far as left and right and up and down are "arse"
backwards! (i kid you not) And it seems to be from the factory that way!
With the scope mounted and fine tuning @ 100yds., if it need to go left say, a 1/4 of
and inch, you have to click it to the right. And same on the windage adj..

I've been tossing a few scopes around in my head to put on the model 12 and still thinking.
(And interesting also, your's shooting 2.5" @ 100 and dead on @ 300....same here with
the .223 calber on the model 12, Hornady, factory ammo.)
