its not so much the nation or people or "culture" but ideaology they have ..

pakistan was a buddist nation way before it was a nation , the whole area buddist , then came islam and the indian slaughter , maybe 240 million dead in that jihad and resulted in the hindu building the largets then army and striking back for 50 years to get india back and why the islamist want them gone , besides hindus are NOT people of the book so slaughtering them is a priority

you reckon the buddist folks who ran that entire region for centuries slaughtered millions for budda ??
