If you are bending punches , check your angle of attack , that pin wants to go downward not to the side . Generally a good pop with the proper starter punch will move it . A drill bit shank of the proper diameter makes a good punch for this job . There's no notch in the receiver , but there is one in the dust cover . It's a tapered pin and will only go in one way .
