I have a friend's Model 60 that he wanted me to clean for him. Its about 25 years old, and hasn't been field stripped in years. I've never taken one down before, but how hard could it be? Took it apart, cleaned and oiled everything, but putting back together, I can't get the recoil spring back in without bending it. I've bent two so far, and just ordered two more from Marlin. Is this a common problem, or is it me? Please be kind. Thanks....
