I, personally consider not firing a gun a waste, it's a gun, shoot it. Thats what it wants to do. I have reservations about buying used firearms that haven't been fired. Why not, what's wrong with this weapon that caused you to not want to use it as intended. To me, a gun that isn't fired is an overpriced paperweight. All of mine are shooters, even those that more than 100 years old.
