Old joke: The difference between a layman and a pastor is that a pastor is good because he's paid to be good. The layman is good for nothing.
Good for a laugh, but not true.
Hebrews 10:24-25 says we need to be thinking how we can help others in the fellowship.
Eph. 4:11-13 says the pastor's work is to build up/equip the saints to do the work of the ministry.
