Default Giving DuraCoat a Try

Many years ago I took in a Sig Sauer P245 to settle a debt. It shoots very good but the Parkerized finish has seen better days. Not sure why in this old pic the grips came out purple

Decided to try DuraCoat to spruce up the old dog. I used an airbrush. The stainless had to be reduced 10% but applied very easy. I sprayed it Saturday, assembled it today. Instructions say 3-4 weeks before heavy use. I will see how it holds up down the road.
