my 22 long rifle semi auto (browning belgium) has quit reloading the bullet gets jammed between the action and the chamber not sure what the problem is it's been thourouly cleaned (boiled) cant tell if the spring has gone soft or if there is another problem thank's

Not a guarantee of a fix, but that problem is often the result of something wrong with the cartridge guide or cartridge guide spring allowing the fresh round to come out of the magazine tube before the bolt is ready for it. Could be a re-assembly problem, or wear/breakage.

Boiled? The gun needs to be detail-stripped and inspected by a competent gunsmith. 'Jammed' doesn't really tell us about the malfunction. I am assuming that the cartridge is being caught by the bolt in the middle of the cartridge case...
