Where can you find a bbl for a 22A - The Firearms Forum

S&W 22A

Anyone know where you can find aftermarket bbls for this pistol. Looking for something a bit more than what was factory supplied.

Finding an aftermarket barrel might be impossible.

The S&W 22A's that I have shot have barrels about as good as you will find on any target pistol in the under $1000.00 price range.

Historically. the problems of these pistols have been related to longevity of parts other than their barrels.

A serious Bullseye competitor is likely to fire 15,000 .22's a year through his/her "shooting iron". These S&W pistols make OK starter pistols for a new shooter, who will likely graduate to something a little more expensively made and durable as his/her skills improve and he/she becomes more competitive.
