We're contemplating making home made peach ice cream from good ol Chilton County peaches - none are better!

I recently got in touch with a friend I haven't seen in about a decade.Turns out he's driving for a fireworks company this year. He's putting on a bbq and then he's got about 600.00 worth of boom-boom.Should be a hoot.Happy 4th to all on the forum.

BBQ Chicken, Pork and Beef Ribs, and Chicken Fajitas. Family get together, just like every year. Hope you folks have a good 4th and be safe, especially from the drunken fools that drive the highways.

Burgers and dogs on the que for a handful of family members. Probably sending some lead downrange too.

Staying at home and doing Rib Eye's on the grill along with Corn in the Shuck injected with butter underneath the shuck. We will also grill a ring of Sausage and maybe more. Too hot to go out anywhere and way too many drunks on the road. We may go down to the Beach and watch the fireworks on that night. It's only about 10 minutes and I know the back way around all the traffic. But will probably just get in the recliner and stay under the Cool.

July 4th is my favorite holiday. I love to shoot of things that explode. I love booms bangs, and the lights. But, my kids are always at their mothers for the 4th. So I just limit myself to watching local fireworks and then watching the nation fireworks when I get home. If they were here for the 4th I would be spending $800 on fireworks for my display. Plus most years my wife works the 4th because she gets time and a half then if it is on the weekend she gets weekend, night shift dif. plus time and a half.

PORK RIBS, beef brisket, Hill Country Sausage, potato salad, beans, deserts. Beer too, without regret. But we will be celebrating the greatest nation the world has known. And we will pray for Her............
