Okay. It's a Belgian pinfire, made in the mid to late 1800s. Value is not very great, as they made gazillions of 'em, they were not very expensive to begin with, and it appears to be missing some pieces.

The small ELG over a star is the Liege proof mark for pistols and revolvers from 1866 until 1893. By 1970 pin fire revolvers were already going out of favor, so just a guess I would say 1866 to the 1880s. By the 1890 cartridge firearms were already the standard. However , for those who owned a pin fire firearm, cartridges were sold until the 1930's by US manufactures.

Have you seen the current North American Arms .22 Short Revolver? Makes your little Belgium revolver look huge. As stated small firearms were made so they would fit into a pocket or purse.
