I think, to make it work, they had to cut the back out of the punkin and scoop out its innards.

I know every time I've shoot a fruit, it explodes. All the moisture inside.

I tried doing that with a Barrett .50 but the pumpkins kept disappearing.

Black Eagle. A guy was using an AK47 to carve his jack-o-lantern. The resulting target is the picture in Jack's first post.

We shot a bunch of gourds one time; next year there was a great garden of gourds on the spot.
