Default Astra Cub Model 2002 .22 caliber auto pistol

I have an Astra Cub Model 2002 .22 short caliber pistol given to me.
My Dad gave it to my Mother back in the 1960's. She never shot it.
The pistol is nickel finish, has plastic "mother-of-pearl" grips and engraved.
Serial number is 171464, still in original box with cleaning tool and clip.
I was wondering what it might be worth today?
What would be the best way to sell this pistol; gun shows?

Value is not high, running about $450-500. An on-line auction would be good, but you have to set some figures. If you are not in a big hurry to sell, and don't want to do an on-line auction, you might try a consignment sale at a local dealer. Basically, you and he agree on a price, the amount of his commission, and how much leeway (if any) you will allow. When the gun sells, he takes his cut and you get the rest.

Jim,
Thanks for the prompt response. I will try to find some way to sell it and now
I have a good base price to work with.
