Default Remington Arm's / Browning 12ga semi auto

I have been told that this shot gun may be from the 2nd WW? Anyway, here is the markings on the gun. Remington Arms co. Inc etc....
Browning's US Pat's.. 680.283-710.094-730.870-812.326
12 ga for 2-3/4 or shorter shells.

I have been given for four long guns and the colt .22 i posted on yesterday and i don't know a thing about them.

the next gun is about 3' long with a single shot break over. The barrel is in a hex shape and looks to have a bore of something close to a .38 cal. The gun is really heavy. If i can figure out how to upload pics i will later today.

P JC HIGGINS MODEL 20-12 GA. SEARS AND ROEBUCK AND CO. 583.2001
