Default Gerber sheath knife review (so far).

This Gerber is 8 1/2 inches long with a 3 7/8 " blade. It's full tang ( 1/8" thick) with rubber handle scales. The scales feels like the same rubber used on my Cold Steel Master Hunter. I like the finger slots on the side and thumb rest. The handle fits my grip nicely. The blade is thick and beefy. I touched it up with my Lansky and it will shave hair. The handle is held to the tang with two hexhead fasteners. The sheath appears to be your typical Cordura type. The snap opened and closed with out any trouble. With the limited amount of time I've had to test it out at the deer camp and in the kitchen I'm pleased so far. Now as to cost and where you can get it. I picked it up at WAl-Mart for $19.00 and change.
