We delivered ammunition and supplies to many of the Army and Navy bases along the larger rivers of the Mekong Delta. Here is a picture of me inside the ship's office taken in November 1970. At the time of this photo I was assigned to 557th MP Co, Long Binh, RVN. My rank was Spec4, MOS 95B20. Here is the web address for each one... Each picture is still pretty large, but I think they will look O.K. on the BBS. I was with B/720th MP Bn when this was taken. The photo was taken at the motorpool. This was when we had convoy duty. That's an APC next to me...I think! Also...I believe I am holding a M-16 in right hand. I know he's not on the board but, I keep trying to get him here. This was taken in/near Michelin Rubber Plantation. Rick was with the 25th Inf Div from Jan 68-Dec 68. I'm not sure of his rank at this particular time. He was a 2nd Lt. when he got there and a 1st Lt when he left. If you need help, just email me at stanlambert@prodigy.net and I will get you fixed up in no time. Welcome aboard. Stan Lambert St. Clair Shores, Michigan

Mineral Jim...Welcome...Your fondness for the Old Phantom shows thru...I had a good friend, navy chief petty officer Richard Brown who was a metalsmith rating.. He almost seemed wedded to the F-4...I recall stationed on Okinawa in 1963...Camp Kinser, right at the south end of the Kadena AFB take off pattern...Those Jocks would cut in their burners right over our Seabee camp and just make things rattle and sometimes, come apart...That is where the oft-used term was first used..."IT'S THE SOUND OF FREEDOM"!!!! Chief
