Default How Could He?

Guy decided to put a plastic ATI stock on his 91/30. He replaced a blond wood laminated stock to do this. I bought the lammy from him and put it on one of my 91/30's.

Yeah, my camera sucks, but every time I get a few spare bucks I buy another gun.

At least my priorities are right!

Can't say I've ever seen a red dot on a bolt action before.

I have heard about laminated stocks on Mosin Nagants but never saw one. (except in itty bitty pictures) That is nice. Do they make the handguards out of laminate too?

I'm kind of liking it myself. If it wasn't been storming here for about 4 straight days I would have taken her out to the range to see if the new wood did anything to the POI. I find that I have much faster target acquisition with a red dot than a regular scope, and my eyes seem to focus pretty good on the red dot.

I have another Mosin Nagant 91/30 with a 2X9 for that! The Red dot is for more like a heavy woods gun where the deer isn't that far away.

Besides, just means I would have to apply some Kaintucky Windage if I had to.
