Saw a couple of Husqvarna's at Cabelas the other day and almost bought it. Did not want to pay $279 since I absolutely have no knowledge of the firearm. Would appreciate any info on these rifles, such as reliability, accuracy, etc.

Husqvarna as long had a reputation for high quality products. They have made many firearms. I have no experience with their 22 RF's.

Single shot bolt action? Mine's nice. Looks funky. Does not look like a modern gun, but heck, it's 70 years old and made in Europe. Why wouldn't it look "non-modern, non-American"?
![]() Straight bolt handle, that when it is being opened is pointing straight up. ![]() Hammer (for lack of a better word) that is cocked by working the bolt. Like I said, funky. ![]()

We have several variations of these at the Fort Worth Cabelas. I have not talked to anyone that has shot one yet.

I just looked at the price you listed. Wow. I bought mine in '05, when Sarco was lop-sloppin' full of Swedish guns. Cost 80 bucks. Prices gone up that much?
