Default Nikon Prostaff Scope

Have a marlin 881 bolt that has a Tasco 4x32 fixed scope that I feel is at fault after having my gun looked at by a good reliable gunsmith. He told me the barrel was fine, and the good ole guy even reworked the trigger pull. Man what a difference! However the gun continued to shot the same as far as accuracy at 50 yds.

So here is my plan. To get rid of the Tasco, and replace it with a better scope. I have my eye on the Nikon Prostaff fixed 4x32, parallax free @ 50yds. Model 6305. Price is right around $110.00. Do you guys think this is a good choice for the money? Really don't want variable power but just a nice scope that I am sure will be much better than I have now. Comments welcommed please.

You can put just about any scope on a .22. I have a BSA 3-12x airgun scope on mine. Suggest you look around the local WalMart and their online site - personally, I MUCH prefer a scope with AO focusing - get rid of the parallax altogether. FWIW - most airgun scopes focus to 10 yards or so.

I have owned the Nikon 4x32 your talking about for about 4 years now. I've had it on 3 different rifles, 2 different .22's and a .223. It's always done it's job perfectly with extremely clear optics. And you can't go wrong with a lifetime warranty. Go and get it, you wont be disapointed and you'll likely have it the rest of your life.
